The incident has been reported to Buncombe County Sheriff Department in Asheville, NC, this week,  and an official record made of it.

The following day,  Saturday, October 6, 2018,   a Buncombe County (NC) Sheriff's Deputy provided security for CCABLAC Animal Welfare Advocates while they were protesting against the “Big Lick” Animal Cruelty at the Western NC Ag Center.

For three days,  CCABLAC Animal Welfare Advocates stood strong FOR "The Horses" at Asheville, NC, and endured THREATS while exercising their First Amendment rights to peacefully assemble and protest the Animal Cruelty.
