Please Take A Stand Against Animal Cruelty!

Former UT Vet College Dean Michael Blackwell, DVM,  upon observing this video of “Hello Bombshell”,  (three-year old mare ridden on Friday, October 7, 2016,  exhibited by Ms. Lucky Collins of Wartrace, Tennessee) at the North Carolina Horse Show held at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center,  said:

“This horse is obviously uneasy and appears to be in pain. It is unconscionable that someone would intentionally inflict pain in order to force an unnatural gait. The USDA’s proposed rule will go a long way toward preventing the cruelty.”*
