A CCABLAC Ad ran today in the Sunday Edition of the Columbia Daily Herald Newspaper which read in part: “… SHERIFF BUCKY ROWLAND TOOK AN OATH TO UPHOLD THE U.S. CONSTITUTION. YET, HE SEEMS TO FORGET THAT OATH WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPORTING THE WEALTHY PEOPLE WHO ARE BEHIND THE “BIG LICK” ANIMAL CRUELTY TO TENNESSEE WALKING HORSES. The “Big Lick” Horse show at the Maury County Park is a stain on the good name of Maury County, Tennessee, and Columbia whose motto is: “Old South Charm – New South Progress”. In 2017 and 2018, the Citizens of Columbia, Maury County BOYCOTTED the “Big Lick” Horse Show held at the Maury County Park. Please do not be critical of them!
