Dear all Democracy and free speech lovers,

I hope many of you would have watched Vishwaroopam movie by Mr Kamal Hassan ,apart from being a wonderful commercial cinema packed with special effects, the movie is a monotone refusing to indulge in dialogue and turns as a propagandist tool to further a person's (mr Kamala Hassan's prejudice) ideology on the entire crowd. It has set a wrong precedent drawing the same prejudice as Hitler's antisemitic view point, a particular dialogue in this movie was of racist in nature targeting an ethnic group in the name of freedom of speech which is a dangerous trend and it portrays some community in bad light,this could further turn in to mob prejudice, this is done in the name of egalitarian ideologies god knows what they are ? , there is a racist slur in the movie intended to hurt as there is no relation between the movie plot and that dialogue. Calling a bhramin women as " papathtthi".

Mr Kamal hassan may claim himself belonging to the community and take that as a right to further his arguments , being born in the same community as Kamal and Mr Gandhi being my ideal in my own sense of word and meaning i feel this slur a lack of understanding or an intellectual aggression . I am not a practicing bhramin, i have thrown the sacred robe many a times and i don't claim myself as bhramin anymore,i wear these robes while i enter my house so that, my mother doesn't get hurt. It does not mean i have the right to say throw your robes and kneel before me you fools as i have a better understanding than yours.Also, it is not a veto to comment on the customs and practices in a hurting manner as the traditions have preserved lot of symbols valid for present day man through their orthodoxy in their own way with their negatives too, which are quiet visible across all pagan religions,but, for a movie like Vishwaroopam it is uncalled for as,this movie is out and out a commercial one, and not a one which discusses the philosophical or a movie which researches the customs. Asking a bhramin women to eat chicken is equal to asking an Islamic person to eat pork, if there would have been such movie it is equally condemned if it is unrelated to the plot . Mr Kamal would try to hide behind tall ideas, or accuse me as an attention seeker or may claim that he has seen bhramin women eating chicken which won't give a right to generalize his claims,as i have seen equal number of bhramins not having taken any non-veg ,then the usage of "papaththi " is such demeaning, i don't care as it is my duty to strongly object to his shoddy views although under the garb of fiction. Come and join me if you agree with me and show your protest here. I won't beg anyone to support me in this it is upto you to up hold democracy. Thank democracy imagine what would have been the state if it was an authoritarian communist/Hindu/Muslim Country.
