Mr. Kadir Topbas, Mayor of İstanbul, Turkey, will sacrifice about 3400 animals to celebrate the half completion of the “Avrasya Tunnel”, one for each meter of the tunnel.

The tunnel will connect Europe to Asia under the Bosphorus Strait. We, the animal rights defenders, demand that the money to be spent to purchase the animals, instead be disbursed to the needy.
