Mr. Johnson works at my school. He is a very kind compassionate person. He knows answers to many racial topics. Mr. Johnson is an African-American man. People have said slurs to him. 

We live in the state of Minnesota. This means we had George Floyd and, more recently, Daunte Wright. I want to apologize for one second, I am a privileged white kid. Even though I am younger, I would ask you to support this. He is a leader in our school community and he has a multicultural group. He is one of the kindest people you would ever meet. He was talking with a kid or group of kids, answers questions. 

Someone was recording, without anyone else knowing. They asked about why people riot and loot during riots. He gave a very honest answer, and the family uploaded it to FaceBook. Mr. Johnson is getting harsh people on him, and he's a danger to lose his job. Please help. I would like to bring this to the district or at least my principal, your support would mean the world. He is one of my favorite teachers. I think he is getting some harsh replies because he isn't white. We are all affected by Daunte Wright and George Floyd. I don't want him to lose his job for this. A lot of kids don't like being "Baby downed" and he was respecting that. He was respecting that. Please sign. Thank you for your time.
