During the cleaning campaign run by the municipality, municipal corporation dumping garbage openly in drains in front of Govt. girls school, Damua (Ward No. 17) through their garbage truck. several kind of wastes such as plastic bags filled with spoiled food, diapers, sanitary pads are found in great quantity.
Due to contaminated food and vegetables, pets (cows, etc) are eating polythene with food in the drain, whereby the animal is getting sick. 6 animals have died in ward no. 17 kutumbdev.
No action has been taken yet after complaining to the president of municipal corporation. Garbage can be clearly seen in the premises of khedapati temple which is approx 50m far from the drain. Govt. girls school, Govt. college, MPB sub-station, municipal corporation godown, temple and residential area are also situated nearby it.
We need Immediate action towards this problem we are requesting to the concerned authority to take proper action and kindly save the environment and animals and provide us healthy and hygienic environment.
