AMAZON.COM STOP SELLING INDONESIAN COFFEE AND OTHER INDONESIAN PRODUCTS
The Issue
Please help save the dogs in Indonesia from torture and slaughter by asking Amazon.com to stop the sale of Indonesian coffee and all products originating in and promoting Indonesia.
Indonesia is the epitome of cruelty to dogs. Dogs are sliced alive for their meat. They are blow torched and barbecued to death. Legal dog breeders raise dogs in cold dark caves in order to develop dogs with thick white fur. Indonesia's abuse of animals is on par with South Korea and China.
Dogs are eaten daily. In Bali, it is a staple food. Inhumanely slaughtered dogs are served in local cafes across the tourist island of Bali. Bali tortures and consumes 100,000 plus dogs annually.
In Sulawesi (and other locations in Indonesia) dogs are flame-grilled alive daily. Indonesia is the world’s third biggest coffee producer. Tomohon is an important town in Northern Sulawesi. It is a tourist town. The people of Tomohon, Sulawesi are the Minahasans. Tourists flock to this place for its Minahasan cuisine. Dog meat is euphemised as "RW" on restaurant menus. Tomohon is the third-largest city in North Sulawesi. The Minahasan people were head hunters until the 19th century when they were converted to Christianity. Although (supposedly) banned, Minahasa black magicians continue to make animal sacrifices in secret.
We are asking the founder and C.E.O of Amazon, Mr. Jeff Bezos, to intercede on behalf of the dogs, since he is a self proclaimed dog lover. Mr. Bezos has even named a building after a dog called Rufus. Mr. Bezos is a very powerful man and has the ability to make a significant positive difference for dogs worldwide. He also owns the Washington Post newspaper.
In the meantime, every individual who cares about animals and their well being should refrain from purchasing products from countries who fail to end the torture, slaughter and consumption of dogs and cats.
