The Crosstown Parkway Extention Route 1C should not be approved when other less ecologically damaging routes exist, including those with fewer and no impact to a State Preserve. If they grant this permit they are making a fait accompli to the selection of Route 1C.  The wetlands that they want to fill in for this bridge is a very critical part of a system that stores and filters water, as well as provides irreplaceable habitat.  Federal and State agencies should honor the will of the people as expressed in Amendment 1: citizens do want their special environmentally significant areas protected.Please take the lead in protecting our local ecological gem purchased with Land Acquisition Trust Funds.
