On August 5, 2014, we have been - again - shocked by images from public shelters in Romania. This time a hidden camera caught an employee from Dej ( Cluj County ) public shelter beating dogs with a shovel, with his boots and many more illegal activities in that shelter came in the spotlight.

Today, August 8, 2014, we found out that the individual was only fined by DSVSA Cluj Offices ( The County's Sanitary Veterinary Authority ) we find this " punishment" OUTRAGEOUS and we ask the Mayor of Dej to immediately FIRE that individual and all the others employees of that public shelter if any of the allegations against them are proved to be true.

We can not longer tolerate to see "justice" done with half measure, and have this violent individual continue to work in the same place and to be paid from public funds. This individual MUST BE FIRED.

It is beyond belief that local authorities did not fire him IMMEDIATELY, did not defer him to justice for cruelty to animals and did not ban him from ever working with animals in the future.  The fine is not enough. This individual must be fired also for the good of Dej image in the world.

Please sign this petition and share it with all your friends...the RULE of LAW  must be restored in Romania. Half measures of JUSTICEare not acceptable anymore.
