Apparently there has been a ban to the dog meat part of the Yulin Festival. Because there are so many petitions listed as "dog meat festival"...the cats are still being killed. And by killed I mean...being boiled, skinned alive and other beyond barbaric rituals. The "belief" is the more the cat is tortured the better the "nutritional" aspects.
