In recent past we have seen 2 cases of cruel acts against the dogs. 1. A chennai man threw a dog from the roof of his house . The dog was severely injured. The man was arrested but he was granted bail by filling a bond of 10000., 2. A group of puppies were burnt alive by a group of friends in Hyderabad, video is viral on YouTube now. To prevent such acts law needs to more stringent. The law governing such acts is very old now ( It is of 1960). Several amendments are required now to stop such brutal acts .
