Sun-Min Elle Park started this petition to MP Hamish Walker

Please apologise Hamish Walker (MP) for your insensitive comments.

Walker: "I've already had many calls, texts and emails from residents who do not want people in quarantine in Queenstown... These people are possibly heading for Dunedin, Invercargill and Queenstown from India, Pakistan and Korea."

Are people from India, Pakistan and Korea only welcomed when they are tourists and international students pouring money into our economy, but not welcomed when they live here and want to come back to their HOME?

How "absolutely disgraceful" in your own word. When you say such a thing, the people from India, Pakistan and Korea, receive the look of despise, rude encounters at shops, schools, and within their own communities where they live and contribute just like everyone.

Please take your responsibility for spreading wrong sentiments, hatred, racism and apologise.
