Good Morning Walnut Grove, I have attached a link to the print out of the petition I dropped off at MOTI on Apr 21st, then I took a needed rest the past 2 weeks. Please have a look at all the names on the petition and if you don't see your husband, children, neighbour, or fellow school parents on the list, please encourage them to sign up. For reference, the 208th petition to stop 208th from becoming a truck route had ~4000 signatures and I am told volunteers when door to door. "Many hands make small work" so please don't make my 2 year old or another volunteer come to your door and encourage you to sign, please take on this task and sign up 3 people and we will have our 4000 names. Google Search for "change.org 216 Langley" Thank You! Phase 2: Elected official engagement. TOL, BC and Federal. A small group of us will be reaching out to the contacts below to educate them about the petition your comments and negotiating a path forward. If you have a personal relationship with any of them and want to participate in this effort, please email walnutgrovelangley@googlegroups.com. Lastly, I feel the 2 schools on 216th are under-represented on the petition and in our small group, so I am looking for volunteers to define what the schools on 216th want and to be spokespeople for the schools children and parents. please email walnutgrovelangley@googlegroups.com to support the team. Thanks for your support to almost reach 1000, and I hope we can quadruple it. The Harfman Family, Elected officials having a role in the 216th development: Honourable Todd Stone, Mayor Jack Froese, Honourable Rich Coleman, MP Honourable Mark Warawa, Premier Christy Clark, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, MP Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Honourable Claire Trevena, Honourable John Aldag, Patrina Arnason, David Davis, Charlie Fox, Bob Long, Angie Quaale, Kim Richter, Michelle Sparrow, and Blair Whitmarsh
