1 day left: inflaming quotes from the TOL Mayor

A question from the facebook site "ourNorthLangley": Will 216th really be a truck route? I think the plan is clear by these quotes from the mayor: ["Township Mayor Jack Froese noted that 216th, 88th, and 96th are already truck routes."] 216th is not a truck route...yet! [“Most people seem resigned that it’s coming,” Froese said.] [Trucks from the Williams area will for the most part be getting on the highway rather than trying to drive through Walnut Grove, Froese said.] [The Township’s planning of the Williams neighbourhood will be one of the most extensive increases in industrial land in Langley in recent years.] To me this all adds up to Truck route, from the Industrial Williams area down 216th St to 96th Ave and out to HWY17 or the Golden Ears bridge. Yesterday, I was educated by an RCMP officer that the existing fences around Topham Elementary are already truck route compliant. Please forward this email message to every friend and family member you have - use the links below or google search on ' change.org 216 Langley ' then click the change, org link, and sign up. On Apr 21, I will print a copy of the petition and send it to all the elected officials as well as MOT program office. I wont close the petition as we still have a long way to go!!! Thanks for all the wonderful comments and your support to make this petition a success, The Harfman Family
