Let’s face it. Yukon’s football arena is adequately sized for one thing. Yukon’s football games. It’s time to move the graduation events back to a facility that can withstand the amount of people that want to see their family graduate. It’s saddening that people can’t even find a seat an hour before the event starts. It’s even sadder that it’s held outdoors in the most volatile season of the year.

Added insult to injury is the stadium is limited to two entrances and two exits for nearly thousands of vehicles. How has this gone on so long?

It was also made known that the school’s administration had put the student body to vote for keeping it at the football field or move it to another venue. Most of the families I spoke to said their graduate was never asked. 

Let’s get this changed and make it easier for future families to appreciate their graduates without suffering!
