It has recently come to my attention that Barnes & Noble bookstores have chosen to stock books such as "The GayBCs" and "Pride 1, 2, 3" in the TODDLERS section of their stores. While I may not necessarily agree with these views, I understand that people are free to make their own choices as to whom they wish to be. What I do NOT agree with, however, is the fact that these books are geared towards kids who can't even walk yet! It should be the parents' decision as to whether or not to expose their children to the LGBTQ+ community, NOT Barnes & Noble or any bookstores who allow this type of material inside their stores. These books should be taken off the shelves inside the stores and placed for online ordering only. That way, parents can decide whether or not they want their kids to see these types of books.
