Pilots hop from airport to airport (in particular those form other problematic airports, BANNED or Dismissed in other places, with history of FATAL CRASHES like Sky Combat Ace), with much touch and go activity in between. Sky Combat Ace and other stunt planes have been actively aviation bullying communities around golf courses and lakes with fly-bys, dives, low-altitude maneuvers (some below Federal regulations), and other forms of pilot aggression.
Summerlin is "under siege" by planes looping, doodling, doing doughnuts, circling on top of our homes all the time now. The are flying right through the hearts of our communities early morning hours and late at nights and throughout the day, even in 115 degrees posing a serious safety and fire hazard. Noise intrusions occur constantly, including helicopters, Cessna, stunt planes, and other low flying planes with history of fatal crashes and safety concerns.
It’s not just noise, it’s behavior. Some pilots act like bullies in high school regularly hiding their IDs from flight trackers, exploiting ADS B-privacy Act which allows pilots to legally turn off their transponders from public while they are aerially assaulting them. Some of the pilots are clearly vindictive - harassment of residents who complain is real and documentable. No one is responsible for individual flights or collective traffic.
After multiple recent deadly collisions of small planes in the past week safety concerns are growing. They’ve put so many planes on top of our neighborhood in order to yield space, and still come within 400 vertical feet of one another, making the already condensed airspace out of North Las Vegas Airport even more crowded.
Most of this traffic (including Sky Combat Ace stunt planes) has recently been dumped from Henderson to North Las Vegas and rogue pilots BANNED in other places are joyriding on top of Summerlin golf courses and lakes.
Our already stressed wildlife is getting hammered, our cats and dogs are scared and intimidated by Sky Combat Ace loud rogue air vessels that can be heard miles and miles away. Some of these planes are decades old and emit toxic pollutants like carbon, PM2.5, and lead over vulnerable communities that include seniors, children, new born, pregnant women, hospitals, schools, club houses, restaurants, etc.
Sky Combat Ace stunt planes are still regularly harassing SCS to charge their customers thousands of dollars for the nice aerial view of golf courses. Banned or dismissed in other places, these businesses have found their favorite playground with no regulations or ordinances, North Las Vegas Airport.
Billions of dollars a year are spent to subsidize General Aviation (GA) airports and abusive GA pilots. The whole business model is fundamentally exploitative, relying on public subsidies, free airspace, golf courses, lakes, and public parks. Flight and touring businesses get a beautiful, uncontrolled, FREE playground, while residents pay property taxes, bear constant noise and fuel pollution and have to suffer LOSS OF HOME EQUITY.
Less than 1% of the population – mostly abusive self serving recreational pilots get to satisfy their drug abusive joyriding, at the expense of the majority. Recreational pilots have incentive to grow and behave with total immunity to harm our basic quality of life.

Please contact the local authorities and tell them to BAN Sky Combat Ace and other Stunt planes and low flying planes on top of your homes.
