Thank you — in just a short time we have already reached 655 signatures. That early momentum shows how many families care about seeing HB1499 thoughtfully considered.

We do not need to reach 10,000 signatures overnight. The goal is to continue building support steadily. Please keep working the petition – share it with your family, friends, co-workers, and anyone you know who has been through custody challenges or who believes children benefit from having both parents actively involved in their lives. Ask them to sign and to pass it along as well. We can continue building this effort brick by brick.

By signing, you have already given yourself a voice. I will continue communicating with the members of the House Judiciary Committee on your behalf, and every additional signature strengthens that voice.

It also is important to know that our work will not stop if we achieve our immediate goal of having HB1499 brought up for a vote in the Judiciary Committee. If the bill advances, we will continue supporting Representative Flick’s efforts through the House and Senate until the legislation is signed into law by the governor.
