The investigation from the Lenawee County Sheriff's Department has been frustrating and has yet to turn up any leads. After OVER 1 YEAR, there are still no official suspects named in her disappearance. Valuable time was wasted by believing the unlikely story that Dee walked away or got into a car with someone else. We feel that the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department is short-staffed, under-equipped, and inexperienced in this case. We are asking that Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and/ or Governor Gretchen Whitmer step in and have the investigative authority taken over by the Michigan State Police and/or FBI. 

Dee was loved. Help the family find closure and Justice for Dee.

What is public knowledge:
1. Dee was in the midst of a “horrific argument” with her husband. This was documented through various text messages she sent to family members.
2. Dee was discovered missing the following morning. Her car was still in her driveway. Dee always drove everywhere she went.
3. According to her husband, Dee was asleep on the couch when he left for work sometime after 6 am.
4. No movement has been detected on her credit cards, bank records, cell phone, passport, or toll & airport security recognition systems.
