On Tuesday, April 21st, the Mountain View City Council indicated its interest in dedicating one lane of El Camino Real in each direction to a VTA bus route, which would have a bus come once every 10 minutes in each direction.

We think this is a bad idea, and petition the MV City Council to change their position before the damage is irreversible. The improvement in bus service that might come with this $233 million project is not nearly worth that amount of money, for the hardships it will impose on all the other users of El Camino Real.
