Mountain Valley Motors has sponsored another display of human supremacy and animal abuse. 

The International Professional Rodeo Association abuses animals in this cruel and exploitative sport in over 300 rodeos every year. This rodeo includes such events as steer wrestling, bronco riding, bull riding and even encourages children to terrorize and chase baby cows "for some extra laughs." Each of these activities cause great physical harm to the animals involved. Calf's are roped around the neck, feet, or stomach and jerked backwards with great force. This sensation is similar to whiplash in humans. Bulls and Broncos are made to buck through selective breeding and by placing a "flank strap" around their abdomen or genitals. The animals then buck wildly to rid themselves of both the strap and the rider forced onto their back. 

Regardless of treatment, these animals do not chose to participate in this sport. The cowboys and cowgirls willingly take part in these events and receive all the money and praise that accompany a victory. The bulls, calfs, horses, broncos and other animals are bred into existence specifically to be used in this sport. If they don't make the cut, they're sold for meat or euthanized.
