`Last month a ordinance was passed that banned all farm animals to include chickens and the feeding of feral cats. they did not address what will be done with any of these animals if taken. Also this ordinance outlines the town people can be fined and imprisoned for breaking this ordinance.

There was not one official complaint for either of these issues and as some counsel members said this ordinance was brought about for revenge against certain individual in the town by certain council members. there are over 36 household in mount union that have chickens or ducks and are now breaking the law. the right to have these animals also has been taken from our children. Not feeding the cats does not solve the problem they pose. a lot of the town people ask the council if we could work together and come up with real solution they agreed to things we brought up then in the end passed it without listening to any of the ideas.

Signing this we want to repeal this ordinance and actually come up with real ways to solve feral cats instead of starving them and fining people for feeding starving animals. Also the farm animal ordinance needs to be revised so that it makes people have avenues if they have well kept and clean chickens they can have them.
