It is obvious our voices are being heard, so let's advocate for our professors having control of their course weightings and allowing them extended marking timelines, giving them the same flexibility as professors at other institutions (UofC for example).

Our professors have had just as short of time adapting to teaching online as we have to learning online while not being able to suspend or cancel classes, change their course weightings to potentially benefit students, and still have final exams marked by a deadline just so we can choose whether we are counting it toward our GPA. Not only are they dealing with this, but they are also dealing with the same stressors we are: lack of productivity in a home environment, lack of childcare support, and anxiety and worry that comes to anybody in moments of uncertainty. 

Similarly to the petition that granted us CR/F, let's recognize how hard our professors are working to make this as easy on us as possible and advocate for them being able to change their weightings and extend their marking timelines.
