It has been quite a few months and and we users of the Moto G5 Plus, despite having purchased the device for quite a sum of money, have received just one security patch update. Lower devices such as the Moto G4 Plus receiving the Android 7.1.1 upgrade yet we are not.

You need to understand that there are a lot of customers of the Moto G5 Plus waiting for such upgrades. These frequent updates were the reason why I purchased a Motorola device.

Android guarantees software updates to its devices upto 3 years. Hence, all users including me, would want Motorola Mobility LLC, to bring timely software updates for bug fixes and future android versions as well as security patch updates on the Moto G5 Plus (All Models).
