Trolley abandonment isn't just unsightly:

it is an accident waiting to happen, children are often spotted riding trolleys in the road;

it is unhygienic! The trolley you put your family's food in, could have been anywhere and carried anything;

it costs money to collect, clean and replace abandoned trolleys. This money has to be recouped somehow, likely adding to the cost of everyone's shopping;

it's unfair on the local community that find them abandoned in their front yards, driveways and on their streets.

it affects wildlife.
