We are out here walking and chanting because silence is not an answer. We are saying no justice, no peace, and we mean that. We are saying Black lives matter, and that has to mean something when this community is asking questions about Nolan Wells. This is not random outrage. This is a walk for answers.

Right now, too many people are left with confusion, pain, and the feeling that our voices are being brushed aside. When a campus community is tied to a case like this, people deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. Students, families, friends, and supporters should not have to keep begging to be heard. If Black lives matter, then the concerns being raised about Nolan Wells must be addressed clearly and publicly.

A community that is grieving and demanding justice deserves more than vague statements and closed doors.
