Moreno Valley: Create A Cooling Space For Wildlife

Moreno Valley: Create A Cooling Space For Wildlife
The Issue
Global warming is a huge issue, and its severly effecting California. Large fires from heat and human have made our sun red, our skies grey and smokey. It has driven our wildlife out of their homes and into the street, where walking pedestrians could get attacked at any moment.
My family is very fond of the donkeys that live in Moreno Valley. They’re friendly and funny, as long as you don’t feed them. We’ve taken their land by building thousands of houses and buildings where they used to sleep, and now their area of peace is getting smaller and smaller, and their population is only growing. I see baby donkeys almost every time I see a group of them. I even had watched a newborn donkey take its first steps before!
Now, these poor creatures have to endure this terrible heat we’ve created. It’s only right that we fix what we did to them. The only shade and cooling they get is under these tiny, shriveled, dying trees, and even then you can see they’re still not cooling off.
I believe we should make some kind of safe area for these beautifully goofy animals, such as an area close where they live that provides them shade so they can lay down, and possibly even food or water. I know Moreno Valley has the money, as they have decided to build the World Logistics Center in town, creating a notable amount of dangerous greenhouse gasses, making the air quality potentially unsafe to young children, elderly, disabled, and others with health conditions. Let's put this money to something better that can help our world, not harm.
