Lakeland moms! We have a few multimillion dollar Publix parks in this beautiful city, but they don’t have shade over the playground structures. We live in the Sunshine state, where in the summer sometimes it has reached the 100’s outside. We want to take our littles out to play, but only a select few playgrounds in Lakeland have a decent amount of shade. I am starting this petition for the City of Lakeland, and more specifically, Bonnet Springs to make more shade for the playground structures, creating a common play space in the summer for these beautiful parks that we would love our kids to play at and not get burnt.
