For over 20 years, the world of Terrinoth has captured the hearts of players through a wide range of Fantasy Flight Games titles: Runebound, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, Runewars, BattleLore (2nd Edition), DungeonQuest, Rune Age, Heroes of Terrinoth, and the Genesys: Realms of Terrinoth. This shared universe has fostered a deeply connected and passionate community, united by a love for Terrinoth’s rich lore, memorable characters, and epic adventures.

With Descent: Legends of the Dark, Fantasy Flight Games took Terrinoth to a new level of storytelling and gameplay. Hints and previews of upcoming expansions were streamed and teased long ago - sparking excitement across the community. Ghosts of Greyhaven, Act III... But after that, there has been a long and troubling silence. No updates. No news. Just uncertainty hanging over a world that fans are eager to return to. 

And then, on April 9th 2026, tragedy struck - official news broke that Descent: Legends of the Dark would be discontinued.

We urge Fantasy Flight Games and Asmodee to continue the journey they began. The love for Terrinoth is not a passing trend - it’s a lasting legacy, built over decades. Countless players are ready to invest their time, passion, and support into new content. Continuing development and releasing new expansions would not only honor the commitment of long-time fans, but also breathe fresh life into one of fantasy gaming’s most enduring settings. Please don’t let Terrinoth fade away- help it thrive!
