More Frequent Low-Cost Trains: Bangalore to Tirupur
The Issue
We, the daily commuters between Bangalore (Bengaluru) and Tirupur, urgently need more frequent low-cost trains on this vital 357 km route.
The Problem:
Only 8 daily trains (20 total), far too few for thousands of IT professionals, families, and biweekly travelers like me.
Tatkal bookings fail constantly due to IRCTC glitches, errors, and agent bots—leaving us stranded despite readiness.
Buses (190+ daily) are unreliable: accidents, delays, discomfort, and costs double in peak seasons.
Highways congested; no affordable, safe rail alternative for 6-7 hour journeys.
Our Demand:
Introduce 4-6 additional daily express trains in SL/3A classes (fares ₹300-700/person) from Yesvantpur/KSR Bengaluru to Tiruppur, especially overnight options.
