Make the Online world safer: recognize the real threat of Cybercrime
The Issue
Join us to protect marginalised groups of society from threatening, through a computer system persons or groups for the reason that they are distinguished by race, colour, descent or national or ethnic origin.
What’s our challenge?
So far, many of the Council of Europe’s Member States have not yet signed; ratified; or taken relevant measures to ensure that relevant policies are put in place to enforce national legislation to prevent cyber-crime and hate crime.
We pledge for!
With urge European and national politicians to advocate for the signing and ratification of The Convention on Cybercrime and its Additional Protocol, as well as to make sure that the national legislation establishes the necessary measure to combat racism and discrimination as online as offline.
What can You do?
Get informed! Check if your country has signed and ratified the Additional Protocol here and contact your local politicians or MEPs.
Sign the Pledge and join other young Europeans who want to secure a full and effective implementation of all human rights online without any discrimination or distinction among people.
