Across West Cornwall, learner drivers are facing huge difficulties booking a driving test at Penzance centre. There are often no slots available for several months ahead, even though demand remains high.

Penzance is the main test centre for a wide area including Penwith, Kerrier and the Isles of Scilly. Traveling to other centres such as Truro or Redruth adds cost, travel time and stress for learners and their families.

We are asking DVSA to:
• Add more regular test dates at Penzance
• Ensure rural areas have fair access to driving tests
• Reduce waiting times for local people
