Yeah...

As you Mario Karters can tell, the latest track that has been announced to be coming to Mario Kart Tour is...

GCN Mushroom Bridge

GCN Mushroom Bridge will be added into Mario Kart Tour on May 16th - 17th as the debutting Retro Course for the 2023 Mii Tour.

In addition, the 2023 Mii Tour will also debut the 3rd and possibly final route of Pirahna Plant Cove - Pirahna Plant Cove 3.

That means that in regards to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, as with the case with all Mario Kart Tour City courses that have 3 to 4 routes (as well as Kalimari Desert and Kalimari Desert 2), Piranha Plant Cove will now have all of its routes ready (as like most city courses, it'll have 3 routes); which also means that Pirahna Plant Cove & all 3 of its routes merged together as one course could possibly be coming to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass sooner than some think (*cough!* Possibly Wave 5. *cough!*).

And that could also possibly mean the same may be said for the character - Petey Pirahna (IF he is chosen as one of the 5 remaining upcoming characters coming along with Birdo for the Booster Course Pass).

Anyway, GCN Mushroom Bridge's upcoming appearance in Mario Kart Tour ensures that its "cousin course"...

GCN Mushroom City

...that it's not gonna get remade, it's not gonna make it into Mario Kart Tour, and there will be no "Metropolis Tour" (at least, regarding all 3 fact, not yet).

Most of all, this means that GCN Mushroom Bridge will be having the bigger chance to be in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass more than I hoped for Mushroom City to have that big of a chance.

But somehow, I'm not too disappointed, for I know GCN Mushroom Bridge has many things going for it.

- It's a fan-loved course since its first appearance in "Mario Kart Double Dash!!".

- The music in Mushroom Bridge (and Mushroom City) is a bop in a good way.

- The booster pads on the sides / railings of Mushroom Bridge itself are back, as well as the return of its obstacles (Mushroom Cars, Bob-Omb Cars, and Wiggler Wagons / Buses / Land-Trains), redeeming Mushroom Bridge from its DS remake where it lacked them.

- And most of all, Mushroom Bridge did appear in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, as the venue for the Dream Event - Groove Pipe Snowboard.

So all in all, while I would've love for GCN Mushroom City to be the one coming back to Mario Kart Tour & especially Mario Kart 8 Deluxe over GCN Mushroom Bridge...

I certainly can be happy for GCN Mushroom Bridge and what the future lies ahead for it.

And who knows, if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe somehow gets a 2nd DLC Pass, ESPECIALLY since the original Mario Kart 8 for Wii U AND three Super SmashBros. Games (Wii U, 3DS, and Ultimate / Switch) all each had TWO DLC passes...

...then I hope GCN Mushroom City ends up being one of those tracks for a 2nd Mario Kart 8 Deluxs pass, along with even more character, more vehicles, more wheels, more gliders, more power-ups, and all kinds of other additional content.

Plus, with SNES Bowser Castle 3 and GBA Bowse Castle 4 having appeared in Mario Kart Tour in the 2023 Bowser Tour (currently ongoing until the middle of next week at the time of this update), I'm sure there will be other tracks for me to enjoy, especially more city courses.

And speaking of which, still having my fingers crossed in hopes for a Rio de Janeiro course, along with characters like Pauline and vehicles like Wild Wing, making it into the current Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
