Thank you all for the amazing outpouring of support! We can make a difference together, but we have to keep spreading the word if we want the powers that be rethink their decisions. Please continue to spread the word! Emails were sent Sunday and Monday asking for the Rev. Dr. Betsy Miller and the Moravian Church to listen to our concerns. There has been no reply yet. Yesterday I reached out to Bethlehem Mayor Robert Donchez and the entire City Council asking that they support their local small businesses. I have not gotten a reply. An email was sent to Dr. Grigsby at Moravian College today asking him to hear us out. EDIT: Dr. Grigsby was good enough to respond. He did reiterate his position that a B&N College Bookstore is his intention for the Moravian Book Shop's space. Let's change his mind! Their silence is being met with our roar! Together we cannot be ignored. We can save the oldest bookstore in America and preserve our historic downtown!
