The corner of Somerled and Mariette in NDG is the location of a 90-child daycare called Playskool (as well as nearby école Anne-Hebert, école Judith-Jasmine and Outreach high school). Unfortunately, dropping off and picking up our children during rush hour is dangerous due to the lack of a stop sign at this high traffic corner. The purpose of this petition is to ask the City of Montreal to initiate a study as to whether the Somerled traffic justifies a stop sign at this intersection of 3 schools and Playskool daycare.
