Montgomery County airport is a community asset. Its vital transportation infrastructure to the region. We ask the Montgomery County Revenue Authority not to take action to hurt the airport. 

The local airport and general aviation airports across the country are vital hubs for medical transportation and education. 

National organizations like the Civil Air Patrol and angel flight have used aviation infrastructure to airlift vaccines and PPE to isolated communities that need them most of these benefits cant be heard by communities with restricted access. 

It’s a harsh reality that these benefits require people and
training. United Airlines’ recent announcement to fill more seats in
the cockpit with diversity reflects the truth that only 3 percent of
pilots are Black, only 5 percent are Hispanic, and saying 7 percent
of pilots are women doesn’t fill the post-Covid pilot shortage.
NIMBY has the risk of making flight training harder to access,
by shutting down airports essential for flight training.
