This past Monday Ms. Linda "Kim" McCabe passed away. She was an educator, friend, and role model to all who knew her. Ms.McCabe dedicated 33 years to better the lives of those around her. She worked tirelessly to promote a safe environment for students by opening up her classroom during lunch and starting the "Warriors for Kindness". She walked through life with an unwillingness to give up on her students, a laugh that illuminated any room, and love which she radiated to everyone she met. Ms. McCabe promoted a love for reading beyond the required books by allowing students to borrow books from her personal library. She truly loved English and showed others how to love it as well. Please sign my petition to make sure that the library at Briggs Chaney Middle School is named in honor of Ms. Linda "Kim" McCabe.
