Dear Montezuma County,

 I was forcibly removed from my home and accused of heinous crimes, by my husband, whom I have subsequently found out, has started a whole new family.  As soon as I was removed, he started disposing of and killing my animals, as he has done in the past. On Christmas Eve, I found my beloved dog, Arwin, dead by the side of the road.  She had a puncture would to the top of her head, but no broken bones or signs of impact injuries.  I could not afford to drive to, or pay for an official pathology lab but I did take her to a vet and the vet's unofficial opinion is that it looks like she was hit in the head and the body was dumped. I briefly visited the property a week ago, and there were no sign of my two beautiful La Mancha Dairy Goats, my 5 rabbits, and although I could see about four of my remaining cats, the had no food and appeared terrified of people.  On January 4th, I filed for legal separation, which automatically instates a binging Injunction against disposal of property, and I have petitioned the court to allow me use of my property and made them aware of the situation with my animals, yet nothing is being done.  They are starving to death, and the cats, who were indoor, especially at night, were thrown outside during the cold snap in December when temperatures reached close to zero degrees at night.  This is classic Domestic Violence behavior and I beg for the assistance of the Courts and PEOPLE to uphold the laws against Animal Cruelty, and stop the starvation and brutality against my animals.
