More than 900 wolves are poised to be killed in Montana this year, and there may only be 900 wolves total in the entire state. Montana’s legislature, at the behest of Governor Greg Gianforte, is now considering passing HB-367.

HB-367 would permanently enshrine trapping into the Montana Constitution, making wildlife trapping a Constitutional Right, with no ‘undue’ restrictions.

Many anti-wolf bills are going to pass this session. However, HB-367 requires a two-thirds majority in order to pass. Montana's senate has 52 democrats: if they all hold, the bill and the constitutional amendment will die and do no harm. You can help make a difference!

HB-367 would drive wolves in Montana to extinction. Montana's outrageous legislation is being driven by less than 5,000 trappers (just 1/2 of one percent of the population), but HB-367 will destroy wolves on more than 95 million acres of Montana's public land.
