The attached article has some great discussion that pulls in several ADs, Legion coaches, school spring sport coaches and the MHSA.

There is a lot of positive in this article. However, the naysayers are immerging, but that is a good thing. Let them surface so that the debate can happen in the open. Frankly we can't be lazy about this and say it will be difficult so we shouldn't try. We can't be selfish and oppose this simply because you perceive this as a threat to your turf. We can't make this a turf war. This has to be about kids participation and a positive experience.

High School baseball and American Legion baseball are not mutually exclusive in 47 other states. How can you say that Montana is that much more exceptional? This is a non issue and shouldn't be a factor in the schools decision making.
