On June 4, 2025, I was subjected to disturbing, disorderly behavior by Ms. Gwendolyn Love, Executive Director of Lunch Break in Red Bank, NJ — a place meant to help the vulnerable, not intimidate or belittle them.

Ms. Love:

Repeatedly followed me when I tried to leave
Got in my face, violating my personal space
Spoke down to me, like I was a child
Threatened to call the police on me, though I did nothing wrong
Created a hostile and unsafe situation

I called the police to protect myself and make sure there was a record of what happened.

And I was not alone —

There was a witness present who saw everything and even tried to calmly explain the situation to the responding officer. But Ms. Love lied to the police about what happened, attempting to shift blame and avoid accountability.

This wasn’t just a bad day. This was abuse of power, misuse of position, and a clear example of why people are afraid to speak out.

I have since filed a civil complaint and formally requested the security footage from that day. It’s time for transparency, justice, and reform.

📢 We are not afraid.

📢 We are not alone.

📢 We are demanding accountability.
