In early 2016, the Love & Hip Hop franchise confirmed a spin-off in Houston, TX; (along with a spin-off located in Miami, Florida). Filming for Houston began + photos/footage leaked on June 8th.

According to numerous blogs and inside reports, firearms were pulled on producers during production. Filming was put on hold indefinitely and rumored to be cancelled due to filming crew's safety concerns in late June. Eventually, the cancelled rumors were confirmed to be false according to fellow cast member, Just Brittany. Following this, filming continued.

Other cast members of the show included: Jhonni Blaze, Kat St. John, Kirko Bangz, Nessacary, Sauce Twinz, Lil' Keith, DJ Eric, Propain, the Charlo Twins, and J. Prince Jr.

In late October/early November, @Lhhtea - Twitter/@Vh1lhhtea on Instagram/@Lhh_fights - Twitter/@Thelovehiphopfights - Instagram confirmed the show to be officially cancelled. 

For all Love & Hip Hop fans, this would be unfair to leave the filmed footage unseen and unreleased. Although there are safety concerns regarding filming crew, production should resume with extreme tight security on set. It's the fans that have made this show the success it currently is…by tuning in every week on Monday nights at 8pm. 

Other city spin-offs of the franchise have resulted in a major success. This city spin-off would most likely carry the same achievement. Hopefully, this petition can reverse the cancellation of the show.
