Flowers have recently been implemented into Minecraft for one of two reasons: either to make your world more cheerful and vibrant, or to make dyes easier to obtain. Cyan is known for being one of the most vibrant colors as well as one of the more tedious dyes to obtain in Minecraft. Adding the cyan flower from the Alpha version of Pocket Edition would therefore not only add more vibrancy and enjoyability to Minecraft, but would also give a nice nod to the nostalgic fanbase of Minecraft due to its original texture for pre-1.7.2.
