Because most of us pet owners consider them part of our family. They have feelings too and should not be thrown into a dump like a piece of trash! I am so upset over my baby I have had for 17 years being taken to the dump after the environmental health didn't even pick him up until his poor body was about to explode ! I am so emotionally distraught that i can barely function and I am trying to take care of my 85 year old mom in another state over 2,000 miles away, and just because i have nosy neighbors that don't like animals, they have put me in a state of shock! I cannot believe that you would treat a precious loving animal that way !
