Appeal for HBL for kids 18 years old and below

The Issue

We would like to appeal to the Ministry of Education, Singapore, to reconsider and implement HBL for our children 18 years old and below.

Children under 12 years old cannot be vaccinated and are hence, the most vulnerable. Those between 12 - 18 years old may not be fully vaccinated as well.

With the exponential increase in the community cases, we are putting our children at risks.

While extended closure of school may have an impact on learning, we strongly believe that we need to choose the lesser of two evils.

We are not prepared for our children to fall very ill or die!

Our children must not be sitting ducks or sacrificial lambs!

Even the possibility of 1 such case is 1 too many.
