Thank you so much for your signatures and efforts to share this! This is crazy as I created this petition about 9 hours or so ago. This shows how a community can come together on things that truly matter. I have spoken to some professors and shown them the number of signatures we have gathered in total (1500+). With graduate school, future jobs and internships in mind, it might be too bold for a pass/fail grading option. As mentioned in the petition, even a generous curve from professors would alleviate some of the stress. After talking to many students and professors, they suggested a modified grading scale. The grading scale would start at an 85 being an A. This way we would get the letter grade we need on our transcript but with a curve we all deserve.

I would like to get some feedback from you all. Do you think the modified grading scale helps?
