Students in high school are angry with the limited creativity we are offered. Our faculty and teachers encourage us to give them our ideas and be more creative yet when we do, it is all denied and shot down. High school students have gone through twelve years of school just to reach the end and be told we are not allowed to decorate our caps according to our hard work. We are the future and our creativity are our strength. Students should be able to represent their countries, college choices, favorite subjects, accomplishments, etc. I would like to pass this petition for our seniors to represent the creativity and diversity students have, in our high school and across the district of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
