Mayor Patricia De Lille revealed today on Radio 702 (Cape Talk) with Eusebius McKaiser that SHE WAS OFFERED A SEAT IN PARLIAMENT BY DA LEADER, MMUSI MAIMANE IN EXCHANGE FOR HER POSITION AS MAYOR OF CAPE TOWN. If this is not true, we, as voters, would like the Leader of the DA, Mr. Maimane, to make a public statement on this allegation. His silence would be interpreted by us, as a confession. Why does the DA regard Mayor De Lille to be unfit as the Mayor of Cape Town, but fit to be a Member of Parliament for the DA? We perceive a great inconsistency here. We smell a rat!
