The past couple of days have been full of unprecedented events. Monday morning, James Madison Memorial High School had to evacuate during 4th period into the West Towne Mall food court due to a bomb threat. The following day, Tuesday, a hold at the end of 1st period occurred, then just a couple hours later a lockout was announced during 6th hour. Then on Wednesday, after they choose to not cancel school, two school bathrooms were set on fire causing smoke to go everywhere. Mental Health is very important especially for high schoolers. Many people suffer from extreme anxiety and depression with these events there’s a strong chance they can get worse. During the upcoming days we can set our mental health straight and clear our minds. This affects many individuals differently and a solution needs to happen as soon as possible!
